Before, water purification was taken for granted, people were not putting an effort in cleaning the water that they drink. Because of this, various sicknesses and diseases hit a lot of people that is why they became alarmed by the situation. This is when people started to realize that they should clean the water before drinking them. They have devised ways to clean and filter it so that it is safe to drink. One of the most effective ways that has been invented to date are reverse osmosis water filters. These water filters are said to be very reliable because they clean and remove even the smallest of bacteria. It has this process that removes most, if not all contaminants in the water.
Although there are people who say that this is not needed anymore because companies who supply water does their own filtrations and cleaning, it is still not enough. This is because when they get water from reservoirs, or any body of water, they use chemicals such as chlorine to kill bacteria and to remove some of the chemicals. There arises a problem because, chlorine mostly sticks with the water thus when delivered to the homes, it is still present. Chlorine should also be removed before drinking because it is a harmful chemical that can cause cancer to the body. A house water filtration system should be used because it will further filter the semi clean water that enters the home. With this, more and more sicknesses and diseases are prevented.
